Sales Development Representative

We are looking for an Sales Development Representative (SDR). The SDR is the person responsible for making first contact with our potential clients. He or she must have the knack of being able to get the right people on the phone, love talking to people, and enlighten them on the benefits of our products and services. Great phone personality is a must; this is not a sales position in a traditional sense, but the beginning of a relationship between the prospective client and One Step Secure IT.
The SDR will create qualified appointments that result in a First Time Appointment (FTA) for the sales department. Another function of this position is to keep the database clean and up-to-date so that our marketing efforts are effective, allowing us a better return on investment from our marketing dollars.
What You'll Do
1. Make 100+ calls per day
2. Create Marketing Qualified Leads that result in First Time Appointments
3. Schedule First Time Appointments
4. Cold call (generate new suspects and prospects) from company-provided lists and/or other sources
5. Educate prospective companies about the benefits of our retail technology solutions
6. Capture discovery and detailed contact information and enter into HubSpot
7. Assist the VP Managed IT Services with special projects related to generating sales
